Our church plant typically meets at 10:30 AM at Mireles Elementary School.

There are some Sundays when the school is not available. On those days, we hold a Sunday 4PM Service at Calvary Hills Baptist Church.

Why are there Two locations and times?

Life of a Church Plant

Pillar Church of San Antonio started as a small church plant in 2023. A church plant does not usually start with their own building, but rents space as the congregation grows.
 
We have met in various spaces throughout our time as a church, including a dance studio and a hotel conference room. Depending on the circumstances such as space and cost of rent, our congregation occasionally needs to meet in different spaces.
 
Our current location is a public elementary school, and they have informed us of certain “black out” Sundays – days when our church cannot rent the school space. On these Sundays, another church has graciously offered for us to hold a Sunday afternoon service in their space so that we don’t have to skip a Sunday gathering!
 
We are grateful for the Lord’s provision in every circumstance, and are prayerfully working towards having a permanent church property in the future!

Pillar Church of San Antonio

Pillar Church of San Antonio is a new church on the far west end of San Antonio that exists to help people know Jesus and make him known in San Antonio and around the world.

We’re a Baptist church that teaches expositionally from the Scriptures. We also partner with the Praetorian Project to bring the gospel to military communities.
