Mark 7:24-37 contains a pair of stories. In each story, Jesus has an interaction with Gentiles, whom the Jews would have considered unclean. And in each story, these Gentiles received extraordinary grace from Jesus. This passage shows that Jesus brings salvation and restoration to all kinds of people who come to Him in humble faith.
