This past Sunday, we began our four-week sermon series, The Heart of a Steward, as Pastor Jared preached from Luke 16:1–13, Jesus’ parable of the dishonest manager. Too often, we live as if we own our money and possessions rather than recognizing that everything we have belongs to God. He has entrusted these resources to us to manage for His purposes. This passage reminds us that how we steward what God has given reveals who or what we truly worship—and that one day, we will give an account to Him for it.
