As Jesus began His public ministry in Mark 1:21-39, He taught with authority and demonstrated His authority over the spiritual and natural realm. He also displayed the priority of intimacy with the Father in prayer and preaching the Word. In this passage, the Holy Spirit confronts us with a question we all need to answer: Jesus has all authority: will you submit to His authority and call others to join you?
