On Sunday, pastor Andrew exhorted us to admire the glory of the Lord and be brought to a proper response of worship. According to Psalm 19, God has revealed His glory in the created order generally to all people at all times. God has also revealed His glory more specifically in His Word. Each of these find their fulfillment in Jesus who reveals God’s glory in creation and the Word perfectly as the King over creation and the Word made flesh. Admiring such glory should lead us to treasure Christ found in the Word, to be brought to repentance, and to be brought to a place of reflection that is pleasing to the Lord.
